Berit Brogaard, D.M.Sci, Ph.D. is the creator of Lovesick Love. She is a professor at University of Miami (to start Aug 2014). She is the author of over 100 refereed journal articles and some 300 popular articles. In her academic research, she specializes in psycholinguistics, perception, brain disorders and emotional regulation. She is a freelance writer for various popular magazines and sites, for instance, the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LIVESTRONG) and Psychology Today. She is also an editor of the philosophy journal Erkenntnis and the first female president of the Central States Philosophical Association.
Amy Broadway has an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Her research interests include philosophy of mind, moral psychology and wellbeing. She is currently studying to become an occupational therapist.
